Overview
1. Problem
Many Kanata North residents drive to work alone, adding to traffic and carbon emissions.
2. Action
Create an online network and/or application where people driving to/from work can offer or request rides with neighbours going the same direction; work with Business Improvement Associations to secure shared parking space where possible.
3. Outcome
Fewer single-occupant commutes, reduced traffic, and a lower collective carbon footprint for the neighbourhood.
