Overview
1. Problem
Many Lowertown residents want to recycle more but lack convenient drop-off points and clear information.
2. Action
Contact resources (Lowertown Community Resource Centre, Lowertown Community Association, City of Ottawa, Ottawa Community Housing, local recycling centres, the city councillor); find space for drop-off points; recruit volunteers; fund through local sponsorship; promote through educational workshops and outreach.
3. Outcome
More accessible recycling across Lowertown and a community that better understands what can be recycled and how.
