Overview
1. Problem
Growing volumes of electronic waste and a digital divide leave usable equipment in landfills instead of the hands of people who need it.
2. Action
ERA organizes community e-waste collection events where individuals, schools, and businesses can responsibly dispose of old electronics; recovered equipment is refurbished for reuse.
3. Outcome
Refurbished electronics are redistributed to charities, schools, and non-profit organizations that need technology but lack financial resources.
